Nice walk around the trails. Don't expect them to be paved or adapted. Lots of slopes, mud, rustic bridges and rocks. As Bruce trail runs through this area, there is a lot of people, and some of these people doesn't understand that nature is to enjoy it in silence, not hearing others shouting. People need to have fun, but I'm not expecting to hear a group of people that are almost half mile away. How are you supposed to enjoy peacefulness and local fauna?Would like to live closer to visit more often. Parking limited but not crowded when visiting early.
Great trail to hike for beginner & seasoned hikers. I would rate it between easy to moderate as some of the terrain gets a bit more challenging (rocks, small streams, fallen trees, etc.), depending on the ground conditions. I love that it's accessible & that you don't have to drive too far out of the GTA to get there. Lots of wild life to spot. Bring lots of bug spray!
Great place for a hike! Whether hiking through along the Bruce Trail or just doing one of the loops in the park, it's a nice location work some great views and lots of the great outdoors to see.
Nice place for half day hiking. While you are in the area plan to visit "Sheltenham Badland" which is a red clay land close by (about 20 min driving). It worths the visit.
Gorgeous scenery and great variation between trails. I highly recommend the Walking Ferns side trail for a very BC feeling! Definitely returning this fall.
