Consider another manufacturer - Samsonite does not honour their warranty. Purchased a 28" hard case Samsonite and used it once a year for vacation. Wheel padding split on one, then two, then finally all four wheels. Took it for repair Under Warranty and was told "Samsonite no longer makes these wheels therefore it cannot be repaired." (Yes, I've got it in writing.) Promise a 10 year warranty and then stop making parts?
I have to thank this store and the manager - I was traveling internationally and my wheel broke and was on a time crunch to get it fixed. I initially thought when I sent it that I would likely never see the suitcase again as I did not know if it would make it back to me - it did and I am very grateful - thank you
BE AWARE, BUY ELSEWHERE. I bought a Samsonite Classic Leather Toploader recently. While the delivery was fast, the bag itself was not to my liking. The leather and stitching left a lot to be desired, especially from a reputable brand, and the $280 price tag! Having returned the bag, its been a pain getting back my refund. I constantly have to email them, and their reponse is “we are working on it. There's been a delay.” - its been a month and a half. I don't find the customer service responsible, professional, or reliable -and will be filing a dispute claim through my bank to resolve the issue once and for all.
I was at the Samsonite store in Toronto Premium Outlet on May 3, 2025 around closing; to be honest, I actually think I was there about 5-10 minutes before close (~8:50 PM). Although I didn't buy anything, I want to give kudos to the Asian in appearance, female sales associate (I didn't get her name). Having worked in customer service for over 10 years; she was enthusiastic, friendly, and kind - most of the time when its around close staff members just tell you its closing and not care. Her tone and approach were great and asked what we needed and offered solutions. After a long day of travelling, shopping, and walking it was nice to be greeted that way! I want to ensure she gets the credit she deserved. Apologies for coming in at closing but thank you again for the great service!
The selection is adequate, but the store is very busy, making it difficult to locate staff for help. Prices are reasonable but not the best, I find Amazon is often cheaper, especially during sales, and delivers to my house.
We ordered a brand new backpack online this weekend, it arrived quite quickly which is a nice bonus. However the bag was damaged, the leather is cut open. The return process is quite difficult, and not easy at all. If you’re in a small town, you have to drive a few kilos to find a Purolator store which can proces the return for you.
This is very unprofessional store .Horrible employees. PUBLIC SHOULD AVOID USING THE STORE VERY VERY STUBBORN ATTITUDE OF EMPLOYEES EVEN THE GUY WHO ON SECURITY IS SUCH A SHAME.
