I tried the Gyros plate/meal and really enjoyed it! The meat and potatoes were tender and flavorful, and the portion was perfect for sharing between two people. Our table was cleaned right after the previous guests, which we really appreciated. I’ve heard that some other locations serve slightly larger portions, but this was my first time at Jimmy the Greek, and I genuinely loved it. The hot sauce was delicious too! Overall, I had a great experience at Jimmy the Greek!
⭐ 1 Star I work in the same mall and have been a regular customer at this location, usually grabbing the same meal during my 30-minute lunch break. Yesterday, their tap machine wasn’t working, and there was no notice posted to inform customers ahead of ordering. When I went to pay, the lady at the counter simply said the tap was acting up. Since I didn’t have my physical card or cash, I couldn’t complete the purchase and had to leave without food. They didn’t offer any backup payment option or alternative solution at that time. When I returned today to order again, the same lady—who appeared to be a manager or supervisor—said to me, “Oh, you’re the one who wasted my food yesterday.” I was shocked and offended. Not only was the issue caused by their broken machine, but being blamed for it was completely uncalled for. To make matters worse, when the tap didn’t work again today, she rudely claimed it was my card that had the issue, not their system. Yet, moments later, she pulled out a backup machine, and my card worked perfectly fine. So not only was I wrongly blamed for “wasting food,” but I was also falsely accused of having a bad card. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. As someone who works in retail, I understand how important respect and communication are in customer service. I am extremely disappointed and upset by this experience. I will not be returning to this location again, and I’ll be letting my coworkers, family, and friends know to avoid it as well. Really disappointing experience from a place I used to visit every day.
I visited this place for lunch, ordered falafel they asked to wait for them to fry the felafal it was way too oily and quantity is very low compared to other stores.. looks like Greek food operated by Indians so quantity is way to low for $$ paid, better getting the food from food truck as I saw a big line up close to this shop.. not worth trying at this location after tiring day of shopping.
