I visited Garage store on Black Friday weekend (Sunday) and inquired about upcoming discounts. The sales associate told me that the promotions would start on Wednesday, but advised me to purchase the skirt immediately to make sure my size wouldn’t sell out, and then return with the receipt on Wednesday to receive the price adjustment. I wore the skirt the following day and, naturally, removed the tag. When I returned with the skirt and the receipt to receive the discount, I was told that I should not have removed the tag. This was surprising, as I was not returning or exchanging the item, and at no point was I informed that the tag had to remain attached in order to receive the promised discount adjustment. It felt misleading, as the store encouraged early purchases with the expectation of a later discount, yet then refused to honour it based on a condition that was never communicated. Additionally, it would have been very simple for the associate to scan the tag from another identical skirt in the store. Overall, the situation gave the impression that the delay in discounting was used to increase sales, while relying on customers not returning—or removing the tag—as a reason to deny the adjustment. I hope Garage store review this situation, as it does not reflect a fair or transparent customer experience.
Maryam and Sheranja are amazing associates here. Super friendly, honest, thoughtful, and have exceptional style. I haven’t shopped in a while and I get very insecure about shopping in store but these two ladies were amazing and really helped me look at myself differently. I’m so grateful.
I must say, I get that cultures exist and that it's boiling hot in the store... but that is no excuse for your employee to not be wearing deodorant or to not shower. I was trying on clothes in the fitting room and my mom was standing on the outside. While I was changing and she was waiting, we noticed an awful smell coming from the Brown Worker working at this time in the change rooms. My mom complained to the cashier and the cashier was nice, but my mom mentioned how she wasn't only uncomfortable, but nauseous, as was I. If you're going to hire people, at least hire someone who doesn't smell absolutely horrible and like body odour, it's disgusting and makes us not want to shop there ever again.
Please DO NOT go to this store, they have a cashier named “ASHLEY” which is the worst and rude customer support professional that i have ever seen. I am a shopaholic and shop from almost everywhere but have not seen someone this much rude, unprofessional and lazy like her. On 14 december around 7:40 pm, i was in store and made a purchase of $485.96 on my scotiabank line of credit, i put my pin in and got charged. Maybe she has taken my money on a wrong order and told me ‘oh the purchase did not get in’. She asked me to insert my card, enter pin and make a purchase again. I paid $485.96 twice and shown her the double transactions on my card on the banking app. She declined saying that its a mistake and i will get my money back on a duplicated purchase. I asked her to call the customer support infront of me and verify this to which she responded ‘I cannot do this, THIS IS YOUR MONEY, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AND YOU SHOULD DO THIS ‘ ( IN A VERY LOUD UNEMPATHETIC AND RUDE TONE). I told her that i an travelling outside of the country for next 20 days and cannot make a local call, to which her response was very rude and neglectful. There was no other customer she was almost free but tossing her eyes making me feel uncomfortable. THIS WAS HER MISTAKE AND INSTEAD OF OWNING UPTO HER MISTAKE SHE FUELED THE FIRE ACTING DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE. I am a master’s in cybersecurity professor and researcher and have a very busy schedule, this is costing me more to get back and fighting for my money, spending wasteful time. I am writing this review here and filing a complaint with the customer relations of garage. If this is not addressed on a timely basis, I will write about her to the head office. If she was not running the machine properly and double charged me, it was her responsibility to fix it, instead of giving me ruse and neglectful replies. I am so upset over her that i will not recommend anyone visiting that store. This is the first negative review that i posted about someone. I need an ACTION SOON. KINDLY SEE SNAPSHOTS ATTACHED. The last transaction on 14th December at 7:40 pm ending in order number #3900 belongs to me. Also see the snapshot of my bank app showing the double transaction is still not fixed upto this date.
One of the managers went out of their way and drove the opposite direction from where they live to my house after the store closed so they could return my purse back to me directly. Such a kind gesture!
gulnoor and ariana are great they help me alot for selecting my birthday dress… loved them its been 6 year never get to see this behaviour with customer service…. great girls love them helped me alot and really helped me with finding my size?
So the staff didn’t really say hello or hi or nothing. They didn’t acknowledge that we were there nor the people after us either. Some of them were busy in cash but others were standing around. The selection was good though, they had lots of sizes and the store was clean. We didn’t venture to the dynamite side we just decided to leave.
